As prayer is an essential part of our relationship with Christ, resources can assist each of us in developing our prayer life.

Such resources are presented here for students and teachers in St Joseph’s, particularly for school-based prayer, on a daily basis. We have here traditional Catholic prayers, the Psalms, school liturgies, as well as other forms of prayer.

Suggestions are made in this booklet about the construction and layout of sacred space in a school classroom; explanations are given about the Church’s liturgical year; the importance of silence in prayer, creating space in our busy lives is emphasised.
