St. Joseph’s School Prayer

Saint Joseph, be with me as I begin another day.
Help me to concentrate on my studies, listen to the needs of my
Brothers and Sisters in Christ and help me to remember I can
achieve great things with the gifts given to me.
Amen.

Grace before Lunch

Bless us, O Lord, and these your gifts which we are about
to receive from your goodness, through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Prayer at the end of the day

Almighty God, thank you for the gift of today.
We place into your hands our success and achievements,
as well as the challenges and frustrations.
Help us to reflect on what we have learnt
as we continue to be a community of love and learning.
Amen.

The St. Joseph’s Prayer Wall is displayed in our Chapel. Each day prayers are added by staff and students alike, asking St. Joseph to pray for those who are in our hearts or on our minds. We offer these prayers up collectively once a term at a lunchtime mass and encourage everyone who comes into the Chapel to take a moment to read and pray for others too.
